Facilities

Ken Sweeney Racing Stables are situated next door to the Allan Scott Park Morphetville - Racing Complex, headquarters for thoroughbred racing in South Australia.

The Morphett Road stables contain 28 boxes, an Irongate Walker to work 6 horses at a time, a tack room, feed room, a modern float to transport to local and provincial meetings.

Ken's brother Phillip oversees the handling, breaking in, breeding and pre-education at their extensive property in Jerilderie NSW (Ned Kelly Country).

Full use of the Jeridlerie Race Track compliments the finishing touches to thoroughbreds whether young or post spelling, before racing locally in the Riverina or arriving at Morphettville to campaign.

The Sweeney property at Jerilderie contains all the modern facilities to compliment the turning of yearlings into well educated race horses. Undercover sand roll building, swimming pool, two horse mobile jogger, horse breaker etc.

The complex has turned out well over 2,000 winners.
